Abu Dhabi Crown Prince approves disbursement of housing benefits AED 746 million to citizens

H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has authorized the payment of housing benefits totalling AED2.74 billion to 1,800 residents of Abu Dhabi on the orders of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Low-income retirees and the family of deceased mortgage holders are excused from loan repayments as part of the housing benefits. The payment includes Al Ain, Al Dhafra, and Abu Dhabi. The following housing categories are covered by loans: construction, demolition, and rebuilding, as well as upkeep and growth.

The leadership’s dedication to guaranteeing social stability and empowering people to build strong, stable families that will benefit the future of the UAE is reflected in the first housing package of 2023, which falls in line with the Eid Al Fitr celebrations.

Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa, the head of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) and the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, expressed his sincere gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and H.H.
