With your donations during Ramadan, you can support the One Billion Meals endowment campaign, which was introduced on March 19 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives is spearheading the “1 Billion Meals Endowment” campaign, an international effort to create a global food safety net for disadvantaged communities. The programme intends to strengthen the UAE’s commitment to ending hunger while also supporting vulnerable groups, especially those impacted by natural disasters and conflicts. The Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations for 2030, which include eradicating poverty and attaining food security, are in line with this objective.

Anyone can donate once or sign up for monthly donations through the campaign.

Here are five ideas for how you may help:

1. Online, via the campaign’s website – 1billionmeals.ae
